Winter comes early to the north
Snowed-in in Sudbury still. I tried to leave this morning - got as far as Hagar (for you non-Sudbury people, that's about 45 km up Hwy 17 East) and discovered blizzard conditions, white-outs, and the highway covered in snow and slush. Needless to say, as much as I would like to get home today, and even though I have my snowtires on, I was not prepared to spent 6 hours fighting my way through white-outs just to get back in time for ball hockey. I turned around and came back to spend one more night here. Boredom has set in. The dog is ancy and bored as well as it's pouring rain and sleet here so going for a walk isn't terribly fun or comfortable.
